As a result of crowdsourced efforts, youth members from Who is Hussain? Connecticut and other muslim organizations  have launched a program to help support the community in-light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

We are aware of the need for assistance at this time. Be it from illness, recent layoffs, or whatever the reason, our team is prepared to help. We are humbled to be able to provide packages for an additional 75 families this weekend.

As such, our upcoming drive-thru distributions will be held at the following dates and times:

Friday, May 8th, from 6 to 8 P.M.

Saturday, May 9th, from 12 to 3 P.M.

To receive a package, please collect from Jafaria Association of Connecticut at 1 Meriden Road, Middlefield, CT 06455.

The initiative is open to the entire community, regardless of race or religion. All are welcome to participate and/or benefit. The event will be held in a drive-thru manner to observe COVID-19 and social distancing precautions.

We would appreciate if awareness could be raised to help further our reach to our neighbors in the community.
