We have already saved over 11,500 lives
Will you help us save more?
Medical care in Gaza remains out of reach, with hospitals destroyed and supplies blocked.
Despite the devastation, we and our partners continue to provide aid under unimaginable conditions.
Will you help us do more?
Our work so far
Despite the unlivable conditions in Gaza and the constant threat of bombs and missiles, Who is Hussain works with INARA to set up a medical camp in Der el Belah, led by paediatrician Dr. Lubna al-Azaiza.
INARA, an American registered non-profit dedicated to providing life-saving medical care, will deliver and support recovery.
The tent has cared for over 800 children, no older than two years, and hundreds of pregnant women, older children, and adults.
The tent treats people with a variety of chronic conditions, dehydration, and bone pain.
What’s to come
We want to intensify our support for the Palestinians. This will be done by:
- Setting up a second medical centre in Gaza
- Partnering with The Ghassan Abu Sittah Children’s Fund (GASCF)
The medical centre will be situated in Gaza City to provide primary healthcare for internally displaced people. The centre will serve at least 300 people per month offering:
- General medical services
- Physiotherapy
- Nursing of injuries
And we are additionally pleased to join forces with Dr. Ghassan Abu Sittah.
Dr. Ghassan is the heroic doctor and surgeon who first gained admiration and support after entering Gaza on 8 October 2023 and began assisting those injured by bombs and explosions.
What is lesser known about Dr. Ghassan is his presence during nearly every major conflict in Gaza since 1987. He has also provided similar support in Syria, Yemen, Iraq and Lebanon.
In January 2024, he founded GASCF along with support from a handful of volunteers from a medical background.
Life-saving surgeries
Ilyas and Habiba were two babies born with heart conditions, but not anymore. Thanks to your donations and fundraisers, both were saved through surgery. Without surgery, the pair would not have survived much longer.
Apart from the surgery, Ilyas and Habiba were given the necessary aftercare.
In Ilyas’ case, this will be yearly medical checks, while Habiba will receive post-surgery medication plus essential supplies like nappies and baby formula.
Meanwhile, 3-year-old Mal Al-Sham, born with a severe joint condition that left her unable to stand or walk, has undergone crucial surgery to straighten her knees. With months of recovery and physiotherapy ahead, she can now dream of running and playing like other children.
Standing together for Gaza
Along with INARA, the respective collaboration with GASCF will allow us to continue:
- Providing life-saving surgeries
- Support the running costs of the medical camps assisting children and mothers.
- Support people with injuries, burns, amputations, and other conditions.
- Support trauma patients.
Our goal is to reach £100,000. Any amount you can spare helps us get closer to our goal.
Donate to save the beleaguered mothers and children of Gaza. More than ever, they need it now.
In order to help cover costs related to running this campaign, 5% of the money raised will go towards admin costs.
